Pius XII Museum in Braga hosts the I International Biennial of Contemporary Religious Art until 3 September. Today, Archbishop Primate challenged the Church to “discover new pathways for art, by welcoming other realities”.
Jorge Ortiga, who was in charge of the opening of the I International Biennial of Contemporary Religious Art, pointed out that “the Church is interested in finding current trends in art, which can question immaterial and spiritual value”.
The exhibition closes on 3 September and presents works from almost 30 artists from Portuguese-speaking countries.
